東海大学教職員組合です
賃上げ実現のために皆さんの加入を呼びかけます
東海大学教職員の皆さん、こんにちは。
私たち東海大学教職員組合は、労働組合法に則って2022年5月1日に結成された組織です。
現在、常勤教員、非常勤教員、そして大学関連機関の職員が組合に加わり、活動に取り組んできました。
発足以来、私たちは大学側との団体交渉を重ねてきましたが、今回はとくに重要なものとなるため、学内すべてのみなさんにこれを周知します。
組合の運動がみなさん一人一人に関わることにご理解を！
以下の三点が、私たちの要求事項です。
要求１すべての教職員の賃金ベースアップ
職員・専任教員については少なくとも１０％以上の、定期昇給すらない非常勤講師については１５％のベースアップを求めます。組合がなかった東海大学では長年にわたりベースアップが実施されておらず、近年の急激な物価上昇に見合った賃上げもされて
いません。
経常収支差額が毎年100億円超の黒字(全国トップクラス)である東海大には十分可能な体力があるにもかかわらずです。
実際に中央大は私たちの仲間との団交で一律７％の賃上げを約束し、既に実行されました。
明治大や早稲田大が交渉している提示額は、これまでにない規模です。
この社会状況下での賃上げは必然といえます。
要求２閉館が続く湘南校中央図書館の再開
大学の心臓ともいうべき図書館の閉館は、学問の府として致命的です。
利用者が被る不便さははかり知れず、一刻も早い再開を求めます。
要求３東海大学大磯病院(閉院)職員の待遇改善
出向先の夏期休暇確保と残業代支給、出向者の同意なき配属先変更をなくすことを求めます。
※上記の要求事項について団交で納得できる回答が得られない場合は、諸行動にうつらざるを得なくなります。
※雇止めや、９割近い減収を強いられた組合員については３陣に分かれて東京地裁で係争中です。
東海大学に勤務するすべての労働者を支援する組合の交渉力を高めるには皆さんの加入が何より効果的、かつ不可欠です。

We Need Your Help!
Join the Union to Secure Fair Pay Rise
Tokai University Faculty and Workers Union is an officially recognized organization established in May, 2022. Since then, we have been negotiating with the university on various issues. Present negotiation involves extremely important matters for all the workers. We would very much appreciate your support. We are working for:
(1) Fair Pay Rises:
Without the existence of union, the workers of Tokai University have not received any base pay increase for many years. There have not been any pay adjustments in line with inflation either. We are asking for 10% base up for full-timers and 15% for part-time workers. This request can hardly be seen as unreasonable given Tokai University’s position as one of the most profitable private universities in the whole of the country. Chuo University agreed on 7% pay rise through the negotiation with union, and Waseda University and Meiji University are expected to follow suits along similar lines.
(2) Reopening of Central Library in Shonan Campus:
Closure of the library which has the pivotal role of the university is extremely damaging. We are asking for the university to make the library fully operational as soon as possible.
(3) Conditions of employment for the transferred workers at Tokai University Hospitals:
We are asking Tokai University to honor the over-time agreement as they have promised to do, to assure paid summer vacation days, and not to impose location transfers on workers without obtaining prior agreement.
※ If no agreement is met in the negotiation, we are compelled to resort to legal actions.
※ Three litigations are proceeding through the court for the union members who were dismissed or lost almost 90% of income. The first group’s hearing will be concluded soon.
The most effective and necessary way to strengthen our standing in the negotiations with the university is having more members. This is a union formed for the first time in 77-year history of Tokai University for all its workers. Please join and work together with us.
